In the wake of Tuesday’s tragic terrorist attack in New York City, Sarah Huckabee Sanders couldn’t help lying about how a lottery-based immigration program known as the ‘Diversity Visa Lottery Program’ actually works during Wednesday’s White House press briefing¹. At this point, I’m guessing it’s almost a reflexive response for her. Sad.

…the heart of what she’s saying, though, is a falsehood

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders ought to either read the statute,” he said, “or call the State Department to find out what the facts are.”

Contrary to the Bigot-in-Chief’s™ claims, this particular program was enacted into law by none other than George H. W. Bush, a.k.a. “ole’ handsy”, a.k.a. “the gropin’ grandpa”, a.k.a. another in a long line of serial sexual harassers who deserve serious public shaming. …keep your hands to yourself ’41’ – you’ve done quite enough!
