Wow. The most recent traunch of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails shed light on what strikes me – and countless others – as an uncomfortably cozy relationship between The Clinton Foundation and the U.S. Department of State while Mrs. Clinton held her appointed office there.
Reince Priebus, (“i” before “e”, except after “c”, ah, hell, who came up with this clown’s name anyway…), is insisting on the release of all heretofore unreleased emails before the election. Hey there, big fella, how ’bout talking to your so-called Republican “standard-bearer” and having him release a few of his f*cking tax returns before then too, OK?
What an RNC lapdog…
Oh, right, back to my earlier point. The taint/whiff/smell/appearance – whatever – of impropriety is more than a little compelling, with respect to Mrs. Clinton’s apparent comfort level playing match maker while at the U.S. Department of State.
Frankly, I’m appalled – not surprised – just appalled.
Having watched last evening’s “PBS Newshour” in its entirety, I have to agree with E.J. Dionne Jr.’s recommendation – ole’ Bill and Hillary need to put some distance between themselves and their beloved, (and apparently lucrative), foundation while she’s in office, (presuming she’s elected, of course). You throw water on a smouldering fire, plus you remove the temptation of sticking your proverbial finger where it doesn’t belong – at least for the next four, arguably eight, years…
Do yourselves – and the country – a favor. Take his advice and cut the cord – at least for a little while, OK?
The Clinton’s deserve yet another >:\ >:\ >:\ rating for this latest buffoonery.
